Terms of Service
Effective August 25, 2026. These terms govern access to LINA RIDE by riders, drivers, and website visitors.
1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing Lina Ride, creating an account, or using a rider or driver feature, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement. You may not use Lina Ride if prohibited by law or if we previously suspended your account for serious or repeated violations.
Drivers must satisfy all onboarding, identity, licensing, vehicle, insurance, safety, and local regulatory requirements communicated by Lina Ride. Approval may be withdrawn if those requirements are no longer met.
3. Accounts and authentication
- Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
- Maintain control of your phone number, Google account, device, verification codes, and login credentials.
- Do not sell, share, rent, or transfer an account.
- Notify Lina Ride promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity on your account unless caused by Lina Ride’s failure to use reasonable security measures.
4. How the service works
Lina Ride provides digital tools that may allow riders to request trips and independent or affiliated drivers to accept them. Route, arrival, duration, distance, and fare information may be estimates affected by traffic, road conditions, location accuracy, demand, weather, and third-party data.
A displayed driver, vehicle, or trip match is not a guarantee that a trip will begin or finish. Riders and drivers should confirm the correct person, vehicle, and destination before departure.
5. Driver responsibilities
Drivers are responsible for operating lawfully and safely, maintaining required licences, permits, insurance, vehicle condition, and mobile connectivity, and complying with applicable transportation rules. Drivers must not manipulate location or trip records, use another person’s account, discriminate unlawfully, or operate while impaired, fatigued, or unsafe.
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, drivers are not employees of Lina Ride solely because they access the technology platform. Local law and specific operating arrangements control where they require a different classification.
6. Fares, payments, and cancellations
Before or during a request, the service may show an estimate, pricing method, fees, or payment options. The final amount may change based on actual time, distance, route, waiting, tolls, taxes, adjustments, or applicable cancellation rules. You authorize collection of amounts properly due through the selected payment method when payment features are available.
Refunds, credits, disputes, promotions, and cancellation charges are governed by the terms shown for the relevant trip and applicable law. Promotional value has no cash value unless required by law.
7. Conduct, safety, and emergencies
Riders and drivers must treat each other respectfully and must not threaten, harass, assault, discriminate, damage property, carry prohibited items, commit fraud, interfere with the app, or use Lina Ride for unlawful activity.
Follow seat-belt, passenger-capacity, child-safety, traffic, accessibility, and public-safety laws. Do not use Lina Ride as an emergency service. If someone faces immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency authority first.
We may review trip, location, account, device, support, and safety information when investigating an incident. Report serious concerns promptly through the app’s support or safety channel.
8. Third-party services and location
Lina Ride depends on third-party technology, including Google maps, places, routes, sign-in, Firebase and integrity services; Supabase backend and authentication services; Traccar vehicle tracking; operating-system location services; hosting; and communications providers. Their terms and privacy practices may also apply.
Drivers authorize vehicle and device location processing while online and during active trips as described in the Privacy Policy. Disabling required permissions may prevent driver or trip features from working.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Lina Ride at any time and request account deletion. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access to protect users, investigate risk, comply with law, address nonpayment, or enforce these Terms. When practical and safe, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal. Serious safety, fraud, legal, or security concerns may require immediate action.
10. Availability, disclaimers, and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lina Ride is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a particular driver or rider, exact route or arrival estimates, or that every defect will be corrected immediately. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, Lina Ride is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss, or loss of profits, data, opportunity, or goodwill. Any limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death, personal injury, or other liability that law does not allow us to exclude.
11. Intellectual property and general terms
Lina Ride’s software, branding, interface, content, and related rights belong to Lina Ride or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, or commercially exploit it except where law expressly permits.
Applicable law and the competent courts for a dispute will be determined by the operating entity, the location where the service is provided, mandatory consumer protections, and any location-specific terms presented to you. Before formal proceedings, both sides should attempt in good faith to resolve the concern through Lina Ride support when appropriate.
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may update these Terms as the service changes; material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the contact or support channel displayed in the Lina Ride app or on linaride.com.
